Good to know

Book a lesson
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?

You should be comfortable in water. We stay in waist-deep water for beginner lessons and a coach is always beside you

Is the water cold?

The Atlantic is fresh, but our 5mm winter wetsuits, boots and gloves keep you warm from March to November

What happens if the surf is too big or too flat?

We check conditions every morning. If a lesson can't go ahead safely, we move you to another slot or refund in full

What should I bring?

Swimwear to wear under the wetsuit, a towel, a warm layer for afterwards and a bottle of water. We provide everything else

Where do we meet?

At our surf hut on the promenade, 30 minutes before your lesson. There is pay-and-display parking nearby
